Innovation In The Gaming Realm

Are you Computer technologists ? Or do you want to be them? If so, you must know your duty as a computer technologists , that is to make approaches to offer interesting websites and mobile apps for Internet users.
One way is to apply gaming mechanics. By profiling products and consumers games can be designed, which are aimed at converting customers to gamers, based on research into game types that they would be interested in. The use of gaming elements — challenges, points, level-ups, virtual goods, ranking systems and gifts — into websites and apps, can be a strategy converted to digitized marketing, aimed at Internet users through virtual networks.

Evaluations can be used as groundwork to modify and improve games, which would satisfy users’ contentment as well as injecting a sense of curiousness.Any kind of products or services could be designed and packaged as games to encourage user engagement, embed loyalty and in turn result in revenue.

The development of cell phone technology offers continuing innovation in the gaming realm. One of the latest discussed is augmented reality (AR). Enabled by AR, and supported by smart phone cameras, users are treated to a layer of additional, virtual information that is superimposed onto real-life scenarios. This virtual information will awaken when the cameras recognize printed markers.
AR is used as a marketing tool .The technology is quite complex and doesn’t give very good results on smart phones. It runs perfectly on some gaming consoles and computers. Last year Agate Studio launched Smash Mania, a badminton cell phone game, which turns cell phones into a racquet with a virtual shuttlecock. Users play against the device or other uses. It applies the AR system to view the court on the phone’s screen.

Ultrabook Still The Best Product of Intel

The annual event of Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2012 return so a variety of technologies Intel puts their future. The event was held in San Francisco, America.
Chief Product Officer of Intel said the Intel Core processor family Generation-4 has been designed from the start with considering mobility. Processor, codenamed Haswell, for example, has a power consumption is much lower than the previous generation. In particular tests the power requirement could be 20 times lower. Well, it's interesting because it is very efficient right?

Family Haswell for Ultrabook future will have the capability promised equal to or better than the armed Ivy Bridge. However, in terms of power requirements will be much better. Before the IDF, there is news that there is a processor with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 10W. This is lower than the previous generation has a TDP of 17W. The lower TDP, the more possible that the product is used in lightweight thin devices.
So, does this mean that Intel is ready to foray into mobile products like tablets or smartphones? The answer seems to still require considerable time. It is an Intel already used in some smartphones and tablet products. However, despite the existing products are not exactly "mainstream". In mobility, the platform is still the mainstay Intel Ultrabook.

One interesting thing, Intel Ultrabook on display in the title is not just a thin laptop. A wide variety of forms - also known as form factor - indicated. Starting from convertible type, can be transformed from a laptop to a tablet style; until detachable type, can be removed from the docking areas keyboard so that it becomes a separate unit.

The End Of PC Era

Some sources says that the era of the personal computer (PC) will end soon . They call it as "Post-PC era." The trend of technology shows this symptom. Even it is predicted the further trends will shift to mobile devices. All the people in this planet will turn to use mobile device. It is the beginning of the end of the personal computer era. Do we have to be worried?!

However, as one of the Intel processors have a different view. According to Intel, the PC will remain exist, even if the mobile device has grown very rapidly. They have a strategy to maintain the condition. One of the strategies is to support the computing device that uses touch screen technology. It will be applied for this kind of clamshell (portable computer) and a convertible, which combines the functions Ultrabook computers and tablets. With this kind of technology the PC will remain. And must also be taken also that the presence of the Windows 8 operating system from Microsoft, which will be released on October 26, 2012. The opportunity will be open again.

Based on Intel's internal research in 2012, it is said that 44% of respondents are willing to use Windows 8 is convertible computer users. Furthermore, 31% of respondents want to use Windows 8 ultrabook clamshell with touch screen, 22% in the tablet, and 3% in the Ultrabook without a touch screen. Intel Core i processors also believe the fourth generation (Haswell), which will be released in 2013, could help increase the share of the PC market. Haswell processor fabricated using 22 nano meter (nm) and power efficient, consuming only 10 watts of power.

Our concern as users on PC era has been answered. Most of us, PC users are still felt more comfortable in front of the PC, especially if we are working within a relatively long time.
