The End Of PC Era

Some sources says that the era of the personal computer (PC) will end soon . They call it as "Post-PC era." The trend of technology shows this symptom. Even it is predicted the further trends will shift to mobile devices. All the people in this planet will turn to use mobile device. It is the beginning of the end of the personal computer era. Do we have to be worried?!

However, as one of the Intel processors have a different view. According to Intel, the PC will remain exist, even if the mobile device has grown very rapidly. They have a strategy to maintain the condition. One of the strategies is to support the computing device that uses touch screen technology. It will be applied for this kind of clamshell (portable computer) and a convertible, which combines the functions Ultrabook computers and tablets. With this kind of technology the PC will remain. And must also be taken also that the presence of the Windows 8 operating system from Microsoft, which will be released on October 26, 2012. The opportunity will be open again.

Based on Intel's internal research in 2012, it is said that 44% of respondents are willing to use Windows 8 is convertible computer users. Furthermore, 31% of respondents want to use Windows 8 ultrabook clamshell with touch screen, 22% in the tablet, and 3% in the Ultrabook without a touch screen. Intel Core i processors also believe the fourth generation (Haswell), which will be released in 2013, could help increase the share of the PC market. Haswell processor fabricated using 22 nano meter (nm) and power efficient, consuming only 10 watts of power.

Our concern as users on PC era has been answered. Most of us, PC users are still felt more comfortable in front of the PC, especially if we are working within a relatively long time.
